Cohorts is not working with any student councils yet. We are inviting a small group of councils at Canadian colleges and universities to become founding councils: help shape what we build, get early access, and bring your community into one place students actually open.
Why councils, and not schools
Cohorts is independent. We do not partner with schools, colleges, or universities, because students need a place where they can be honest.
Student councils are different. You are elected by students and you work for students. That makes you the right partners for a student first app.
Working with a council does not change our rules: councils do not see private conversations or individual student activity.

- Reach students by school and program. Communities for your school and programs, where students already connect and message each other.
What we want to build with founding councils
- Events in one place. Share events without another tab, another login, or another group chat.
- Mentorship for first years (coming soon). Connect first year students with older students who have been exactly where they are.
- Simple feedback from students. Lightweight, anonymous ways to hear from the students you represent, without survey fatigue.
